Roots Furniture is founded by Martin Smith and Stephen Moore, two Product Design graduates from Duncan and Jordanstone College of Art and Design.

Based in Dundee, Roots is creating bespoke furniture and interior fittings, both household and commercial, and shop fitting and fabrication, for both interior and exterior environments.

Our aim is to craft beautiful pieces with a strong emphasis on material and aesthetic qualities.

Our work is client centred, and Roots loves to have our clientele involved as much as possible in every project. We want to ensure their needs and desires are always at the heart of our process and the project. During the manufacture and installation of their project, clients are given regular personal updates. This includes messages and emails, photos and video content.

With each piece Roots create, we celebrate the materials' rich past and aim to craft something that will last long into the future.

We are always looking to take on work, and are not shy about taking on a challenge. From interior pieces to shop fitting and fabrication, Roots would love to get involved.
